WHO WE ARE

04.2011GLCC Case Statement

We are individuals and organizations who advocate for customized, innovative experiences for all learners.  We call it 360˚ learning because learning can happen anywhere at anytime.

WHAT WE DO

Share Knowledge and Information: GLCC provides organizational evaluation and professional development on constructivism as a viable alternative to traditional middle and high school learning frameworks.  This is done by 1) collecting pertinent data on constructivist best practices, 2) tracking data on schools that reflect and/or aspire to constructivist best practices and 3) providing learning opportunities for individuals, schools and whole communities to refine their practices of democratic communication structures, systemic assessment, reorientation practices, and connections to the community at large.

Provide Demonstrations: GLCC showcases real-world examples of constructivism.

THAT

Encourage Replication:  GLCC codifies and documents the processes and tools for businesses, community organizations and schools to adopt authentic constructivist partnerships.

WHILE WE

Pursue and Model Organizational Sustainability: GLCC builds and refines this educational revolution via continuous quality improvement with consistent  and varied messaging, engagement of organizational data dashboards, and ongoing governance, partner, and resource development.
